The first step towards commissioning stained glass or a painting, is for the artist to visit the client, this is free of charge and without obligation and allows the client to meet the artist and see a portfolio of completed work. The clients requirements would be discussed and then an estimated cost would be made of the project.

In cases when this is not possible, initial discussion can take place by telephone or e-mail, or in the artists studio in Glasgow. It is always advisable to allow for as much time as possible when commissioning stained glass as the process can take weeks or, in the case of large or complex projects, months to complete.
